Kilina America Inc. alleges fabrics, garments are being sold with infringing design

LOS ANGELES – A Los Angeles corporation alleges one of its designs was unlawfully used in fabrics.

Kilina America Inc. filed a complaint on April 17 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against TK Clothing Inc., doing business as Bellissima and Bubble B; Silvina Lee; November Sky Inc.; and Does 1-10 alleging copyright infringement.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it suffered damages to its business from having its KM-57007 design reproduced without its consent. The plaintiff holds TK Clothing Inc., doing business as Bellissima and Bubble B; Silvina Lee; November Sky Inc.; and Does 1-10 responsible because the defendants allegedly used plaintiff's designs for fabrics and garments.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks enjoin the defendants, all profits, statutory damages, all legal fees, interest and any other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by C. Yong Jeong, Amy J. Choe and John R. Baldivia of Jeong & Likens LC in Los Angeles.
