Woman alleges she was injured on Star Princess cruise ship while doing laundry

LOS ANGELES – A Texas woman alleges she was injured in the laundry room of a cruise ship.

Shirley Jordan filed a complaint on May 23 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Princess Cruise Lines LTD alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that in February 2016, she suffered physical injuries when a plumbing vacuum breaker struck her in the back of her head while she was on the defendant's ship the Star Princess. The plaintiff holds Princess Cruise Lines LTD responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to warn the plaintiff regarding the dangerous conditions.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks general damages, medical expenses, interest, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. She is represented by Aksana M. Coone of Law Offices of Aksana M. Coone in Los Angeles.
