Phone 03

SANTA ANA – A Sun City claims a Santa Ana debt collector kept calling her after she asked it to stop.

Heather Grant filed a complaint on May 22 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, Southern Division against MAS Financial Services Inc. alleging violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and the Rosenthal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she suffered damages from receiving several collection calls and asked the defendant to stop contacting her in July 2016. The plaintiff holds MAS Financial Services Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly kept on calling the plaintiff several times using an automatic dialing system despite her request to stop calling.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks statutory damages, all legal fees, punitive damages and any other relief as the court deems just. She is represented by Trinette G. Kent of Lemberg Law LLC in Wilton, Connecticut.
