LOS ANGELES – A Los Angeles County individual is alleged to owe more than $430,000 for student loans.
United States of America, on behalf of the U.S. Department of Education, filed a complaint on June 6 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Young Jae Park alleging failure to pay.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that Park failed to pay the principal amount of a debt to the plaintiff.
The plaintiff seeks principal amount of $190,429.83, $240,797.92 in interest, all legal fees, and any other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by Sandra R. Brown, Dorothy A. Schouten, Indira J. Cameron-Banks and Zoran J. Segina of Department of Justice in Los Angeles.
