SAN FRANCISCO – Two San Jose corporations allege that six of their patents have been infringed.
Maxim Integrated Products Inc. and Volterra Semiconductor LLC filed a complaint on June 16 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California against Silicon Mitus Inc. and Silicon Mitus Technology Inc. alleging patent infringement.
According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that they suffered damages from having six of their patents infringed. The plaintiffs hold Silicon Mitus Inc. and Silicon Mitus Technology Inc. responsible because the defendants' Silicon Mitus SM5705 PMIC and integrated circuits allegedly infringe the plaintiff's patents.
The plaintiffs seek damages, interest, injunction against the defendant, all other damages, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. They are represented by David M. Barkan and Michael Sobolev of Fish & Richardson P.C. in Redwood City.
