LOS ANGELES – A financial institution claims that a Laguna Beach company failed to pay a loan.
First Home Bank filed a complaint on June 14 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against A Slim Me LLC, Maryanne Kuzara and Does 1 through 50 alleging breach of contract, unjust enrichment and other counts.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that the defendants issued a promissory note in September 2016. The plaintiff holds A Slim Me LLC, Kuzara and Does 1 through 50 responsible because the defendants allegedly defaulted on their loan.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks amount due and owing of $119,110.33; unpaid interest of $1,753.49; all legal fees; interest and any other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by Joshua N. Kastan of Hayes Scott Bonino Ellingson & McLay LLP in Redwood City.
