Unicolors Inc. alleges individual unlawfully used copyrighted design

LOS ANGELES – A Los Angeles individual is accused of unlawfully using a textile design for clothing.

Unicolors Inc. filed a complaint on June 15 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Allen Yang, also known as Yanan Yang, and Does 1-10 alleging copyright infringement.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it suffered damages to its business. The plaintiff holds Yang and Does 1-10 responsible because the defendants allegedly sells garments that feature plaintiff's fabric SM1357 design.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks to enjoin the defendant, all profits, statutory damages, all legal fees, interest and any other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by C. Yong Jeong and Amy Choe of Jeong & Likens LC in Los Angeles.
