LOS ANGELES – An Alta Loma company is accused of failing to pay contributions.
Trustees of the Operating Engineers Pension Trust, et al. filed a complaint on June 16 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Panorama Corp. alleging violation of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act.
According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that they suffered damages as the result of unpaid contributions. The plaintiffs holds Panorama Corp. responsible because the defendant allegedly breached their bargaining agreement with the plaintiff when they failed to pay their contribution on behalf of their employees in November and December 2016 and from January 2017 to the present.
The plaintiffs seek unpaid fringe benefit contributions, damages, liquidated damages, interest, audit costs, all legal fees, and any other relief as the court deems just. They are represented by Matthew T. Bechtel of Laquer, Urban, Clifford & Hodge LLP in Pasadena.
