Copyright 03

LOS ANGELES – Jitrade alleges that a Chino business and a Los Angeles individual unlawfully used its textile designs.

Jitrade Inc. filed a complaint on June 21 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Grand Distribution Inc., doing business as Lollicouture; Zongshou Hu; and Does 1-10 alleging copyright infringement.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it suffered damages due to having its JIC-28, SND1505_32A and other fabric designs copied. The plaintiff holds Grand Distribution Inc., Hu and Does 1-10 responsible because the defendants allegedly sold or manufactured garments made out of fabrics that bear plaintiff's designs.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks to enjoin the defendants, all profits, interest, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by C. Yong Jeong and Amy Choe of Jeong & Likens LC in Los Angeles.
