Laltitude LLC alleges Amazon.com sells counterfeit speakers

LOS ANGELES – A California corporation alleges Amazon.com Inc. sells counterfeit versions of its products.

Laltitude LLC filed a complaint on June 21 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Amazon.com Inc. and Does 1 through 10 alleging patent and trademark infringement.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that its '359 patent, titled Bluetooth Shower Speaker, was infringed. The plaintiff holds Amazon.com Inc. and Does 1 through 10 responsible because the defendants allegedly sold products that infringe at least one claim of the '359 patent. It also alleges the defendants unlawfully used its SoundBot trademarks.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks treble damages, injunction, all legal fees, interest and any other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by Vincent Y. Lin of Law Offices of Vincent Y. Lin in City of Industry.
