Individuals allege city of Fresno employee's negligence caused collision

Car accident 20

FRESNO – Three Fresno individuals allege they were injured when a city employee failed to yield to the right of way and collided with their vehicle.

Tria Vang, Shylinn Molano and Giovanni Molano filed a complaint on June 12 in the Fresno County Superior Court against the city of Fresno, James Littrell and Does 1-100 alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that on Dec. 20, 2016, Vang, Shylinn Molano and Giovanno Molano sustained serious injuries when their vehicle was struck by a city of Fresno vehicle operated by defendant Littrell. The plaintiffs allege they suffered great mental, physical and emotional distress, pain and suffering and medical and related expenses.

The plaintiffs hold the city of Fresno, James Littrell and Does 1-100 responsible because defendant Littrell allegedly failed to yield the right of way and negligently operated the vehicle at a speed unsafe for the conditions.

The plaintiffs seek general and special damages, property damages, costs of suit, prejudgment interest and all further relief as the court deems just and proper. They are represented by Garrett May, Ryan Buchanan and Robert May of The May Firm Inc. in San Luis Obispo.
