Beacon Sales Acquisition Inc. alleges contractor owes more than $80,000 for goods

Late 05

FRESNO – A Fresno County contractor is alleged to have failed to pay for roofing goods and materials.

Beacon Sales Acquisition Inc., doing business as Roofing Supply of Northern California, filed a complaint on June 15 in the Fresno County Superior Court against Carlos Rico, doing business as Premier Roofing; Ryan Dunlop; Ani Tokat; Dana Lambert; Joseph K. Lambert; and Does 1-50 alleging breach of contract and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it furnished roofing goods and related materials to defendants for use in various construction projects. The principal sum of $82,352.81 is allegedly now due, owing and unpaid. The plaintiff holds Rico, Dunlop, Tokat, Dana Lambert, Joseph K. Lambert and Does 1-50 responsible because the defendants allegedly breached the agreement between them and the plaintiff that was entered into in July 2016.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendants for at least $82,352.81, plus service charges of $4,634.28, interest, attorneys’ fees, costs of suit and all further relief as the court deems just and appropriate. It is represented by C. Andrew Gibson and Tiffanie C. De La Riva of Stoel Rives LLP in Sacramento.
