LOS ANGELES — Two former instructors have filed a class action lawsuit against a computer training business, alleging unpaid wages and violation of workers compensation acts.

John Marin and Keyan Bagheri filed a complaint, individually and on behalf of all others similarly situated, July 24 in U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against General Assembly Space Inc., alleging failure to properly compensate the plaintiffs for their work.

According to the complaint, Marin and Bagheri worked for more than 40 hours per week as computer instructors without being paid any overtime wages. The plaintiffs allege General Assembly Space failed to pay minimum wages and failed to provide any accurate wage statements.

Marin and Bagheri seek trial by jury, all unpaid or underpaid wages, plus interest, actual and liquidated damages, statutory penalties, restitution and disgorgement, interest, all legal fees and all other relief the court deems just. They are represented by attorney Jamin S. Soderstrom of Soderstrom Law PC in Irvine, California.
