Government alleges promissory note holder owes more than $20,000

LOS ANGELES — The U.S. government is suing a promissory note holder, alleging breach of contract and owing more than $20,000.

The United States of America filed a complaint Aug. 28 in U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Sendi L. Aloni, alleging failure to settle her debt to the plaintiff.

According to the complaint, the U. S. suffered monetary damages as the result of not being paid because Aloni failed to pay the principal amount of her promissory note debt to the plaintiff, including interest.

The government seeks the principal amount of $10,565.28, plus interest of $9,521.84, with interest accruing at the daily rate of 92 cents, plus all legal fees. It is represented by attorney Jacquelyne M. Nguyen of Law Office of Jacquelyne M. Nguyen in Costa Mesa.
