Employee accuses Johnson & Johnson of failing to pay proper wages

Late 02

LOS ANGELES — An Orange County woman is suing Johnson & Johnson, alleging unpaid wages and violation of workers compensation acts.

Nhung B. Tran filed a complaint Sept. 15 in U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Johnson & Johnson Vision Care Inc. and Does 1 through 10, alleging they failed to pay fair wages in violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

According to the complaint, Tran worked or 12 years in quality assurance for records management. The suit says she worked more than 40 hours per week without being paid overtime wages.

The plaintiff alleges the defendants failed to pay her any overtime wages for hours worked that exceeds 40 hours per week in violation of FLSA.

Tran seeks trial by jury, economic damages, general damages, punitive damages, statutory damages, legal fees, double damages, and all other relief the court deems just. She is represented by attorney William M. Crosby of Tustin.
