Motorist seeks compensatory damages after rear-end collision in Fresno

FRESNO – A man is seeking damages from a driver and vehicle owner over alleged damages sustained in a Fresno rear-end collision.

Robert J. Borunda filed a complaint on May 29 in the Fresno County Superior Court against Jerry Sweazy and Inez Sweazy alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on July 11, 2017, he was injured in an auto collision negligently caused by Jerry Sweazy on Mark Avenue near/or at its corner with Ashaln Avenue in Fresno. The suit states Jerry Sweazy was operating a vehicle owned by Inez Swezy and struck the plaintiff from the rear. The plaintiff alleges he suffered physical injuries resulting in medical expenses and lost wages. 

The plaintiff seeks compensatory damages in an amount according to proof, prejudgment interest, costs and any other relief the court deems proper. He is represented by David M. Overstreet IV of Overstreet & Associates in Fresno.
