Wilkins Pump/Knickerbocker Electric alleged to owe more than $250,000 for loan

FRESNO – An Oakdale corporation is alleged to have defaulted on a loan.

First Home Bank filed a complaint on June 11 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California against Wilkins Pump/Knickerbocker Electric Inc., et al. alleging breach of contract, unjust enrichment and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Jan. 30, 2017, the defendants delivered certain promissory note to plaintiff in the amount of $272,484.03. As of May 30, the amount of $277,512.63, which consists of outstanding principal, interest, late charges and collection costs, allegedly remains due and owing. 

The plaintiff holds Wilkins Pump/Knickerbocker Electric Inc., et al. responsible because despite demand for payment, the defendants allegedly failed and refused and continue to fail and refuse to remit payment of the same.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants in the amount of $272,484.63, legal fees, costs and expenses and such further and other relief. It is represented by Joshua N. Kastan of DKM Law Group LLP in San Francisco.
