FRESNO – A Merced County man alleges that he was injured as a passenger in a Fresno accident when the vehicle was rear-ended by a Stockton company's employee.

Peter Escalante filed a complaint on June 6 in the Fresno County Superior Court against Gabriel Ortiz Coronado, Pacific Storage Co. and Does 1-20 alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Nov. 14, 2017, he was involved in an automobile accident as a passenger that occurred on eastbound of West Herndon Avenue in the proximity of North Marks Avenue in Fresno. The suit states Coronado, who was employee of Pacific Storage, struck the rear of the car plaintiff was in.

The plaintiff alleges he suffered right arm swelling and pain, a heart murmur, neck, shoulder and back pain, and other numerous medical problems.
