FRESNO — A service technician is suing Premier Security Group Inc. and Does 1-100, alleging that he was not paid for overtime work and did not receive required time for meals or breaks.

Jeremy Champ filed a complaint on July 23, in the Fresno County Superior Court, claiming the company violated the California Labor Code and the California Business and Professions Code.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he worked more than 40 hours in a week during his employment with defendants without receiving proper overtime compensation.

The plaintiff holds Premier Security Group Inc. and Does 1-100 responsible, because the defendants allegedly failed to compensate him for all hours worked and/or missed meal periods and/or rest breaks and failed to pay all wages owed upon discharge or resignation.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks restitution of unpaid wages, with interest, attorneys’ fees and costs and such other just and proper relief. He is represented by Monrae L. English of Wild, Carter & Tipton in Fresno.
