Driver in Fresno crash alleged to have entered lane without indication

FRESNO – A couple allege they were injured in a Fresno collision when another driver entered their lane of travel.

Aracely Brambila-Chavez and Daniel Chavez filed a complaint on Sept. 28 in the Fresno County Superior Court against Husam D. Mahmoud, Mohammad H. Mahmoud and Does 1-10 alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that on Dec. 31, 2017, they were involved in a motor vehicle collision when defendant Husam Mahmoud changed lanes unsafely and collided with their vehicle at the intersection of Ashlan Avenue and Fresno Street in Fresno. They allege they sustained injuries and damages, including but not limited to lost wages, loss of use of property and hospital and medical expenses. 

The suit states Husam D. Mahmoud was operating a vehicle owned by Mohammad H. Mahmoud.

The plaintiffs hold Husam D. Mahmoud, Mohammad H. Mahmoud and Does 1-10 responsible because defendant Husam Mahmoud carelessly entered into their lane without indication to enter a shopping center.

The plaintiffs seek compensatory damages according to proof. They are represented by Michael C. Gong of Law Offices of Michael C. Gong in Fresno.
