GREENBERGTRAURIG: Two Greenberg Traurig Attorneys Speak at ABA Section of Litigation Joint CLE Conference

Greenbergtraurig, Llp issued the following announcement on Jan. 11.

Adil M. Khan and Natassia Kwan of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP will speak at the American Bar Association’s (ABA) 2019 Environmental and Energy, Mass Torts and Products Liability Committees’ Joint CLE Seminar, Jan. 10-12, in Laguna Beach, CA. Speakers at the 3-day seminar include in-house counsel, plaintiffs’ and defense counsel, government employees, and members of the judiciary from across the United States.

On Jan. 11, Kwan will moderate and Khan will speak on the panel, “Rising Through the Ranks: Associate Advancement from an In-House Perspective.” Panelists will discuss how associates can provide excellent client service and distinguish themselves. Other topics will include how to better understand clients as an associate and how partners and senior attorneys can bridge the relationship between the associate and the client.

Khan, a shareholder in Greenberg Traurig’s Los Angeles office and member of the firm’s Litigation and Labor & Employment Practices, is a commercial litigator with a primary focus on commercial disputes, class actions, and labor & employment matters. He has diverse experience in all phases of civil litigation, from the pleadings stage through trial. He has represented companies in a variety of contexts, including asserting claims against former executives and managers for theft of trade secrets, unfair competition, and fraud.

Kwan, an associate in Greenberg Traurig’s San Francisco office and member of the firm’s Litigation and Life Sciences & Medical Technology Practices, focuses her practice on defending companies against individual and class action claims in product liability, medical device, and pharmaceutical cases. She practices in both state and federal courts, including multidistrict litigation. Kwan also has experience with appeals, writ proceedings, and settlements in individual and mass tort cases.
