FOX ROTHSCHILD LLP: Ashe Puri and Daniel Wu Named Most Influential Minority Attorneys by the Los Angeles Business Journal

Fox Rothschild LLP congratulates Ashe P. Puri and Daniel Wu, who have been recognized among the Most Influential Minority Attorneys by the Los Angeles Business Journal.

The annual list highlights minority attorneys in the Los Angeles region who are distinguished in the business and legal community.

Puri is a Partner in the firm’s Intellectual Property Department with more than 15 years of experience litigating and counseling clients in the electronics, software and medical device sectors. He recently won summary judgment for the Los Angeles Biomedical Research Institute in a protracted dispute that included claims related to the imminent construction of a state-of-the-art research facility. Puri serves as Co-President of the South Asian Bar Association of Southern California and Secretary of the Los Angeles Intellectual Property Law Association. He has also served on the Board of Governors of the Asian Pacific American Bar Association for the past two years and as a Board Advisor of the Public Interest Foundation of the South Asian Bar Association of Southern California.

Puri earned a J.D. from Villanova University and a B.S. from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

A Partner in the firm’s Emerging Companies & Venture Capital Practice Group, Wu is a strategic adviser who represents emerging companies at all stages of development, including the venture capital and private equity firms that finance them. Wu is a prominent attorney within the technology community and sought-after by emerging companies and investors that are on the cutting edge of innovation. Some of the leading venture capital firms in California, including Battery Ventures, GGV Capital and Mayfield Fund, have financed his clients. Over his 20-year career, he has provided legal and strategic advice to participants in hundreds of venture capital and M&A transactions with a collective value of more than $10 billion.

Wu earned a J.D. from the University of California, an M.B.A. from INSEAD and a B.A., magna cum laude, from Claremont McKenna College.
