Littler Mendelson issued the following announcement on June 26.
Littler, the world’s largest employment and labor law practice representing management, has been ranked as the No. 1 Labor and Employment law firm for the seventh consecutive year in the 2020 Vault Guide to the Top 100 Law Firms. The firm also ranked in several diversity categories, including:
No. 5 Diversity for Minorities
No. 8 Best Law Firms for Diversity Overall
No. 12 Diversity for Individuals with Disabilities
No. 9 Diversity for Women
No. 11 Diversity for LGBT
Additionally, the firm was ranked No. 8 in the new Technology & Innovation category.
“We are honored to once again be recognized by Vault as the top labor and employment law firm, and among the leading firms for diversity and innovation,” said Tom Bender and Jeremy Roth, co-managing directors of Littler, in a joint statement. “Diversity is a core principle at Littler and we remain committed to our goal of providing a work environment of inclusion, respect, trust and collaboration as we continue to provide high quality and forward thinking legal services to our clients.”
The Vault Law 100 ranking is based on scores from nearly 20,000 law firm associates surveyed earlier this year, who were asked to rate law firms on a scale of 1 to 10 based on prestige. The Vault diversity rankings are based on associate perceptions of how firms create, maintain and foster diverse workplaces.
