Paul Rafferty, a partner in Jones Day's Business & Tort Litigation Practice, has been named to the Daily Journal's list of "Top Artificial Intelligence Lawyers" for his work on product liability concerns, existing and emerging, associated with the creation and functionality of artificial intelligence (AI) and autonomous vehicles (AV).
Mr. Rafferty has advised clients on applicable U.S. laws and regulations, published on these subjects nationally and internationally, and assists in anticipating and defending AI product liability scenarios that exist, or may soon exist, relative to state and federal laws and regulations. Mr. Rafferty has podcasts available on the Jones Day Talks website, and provides continuing legal education (CLE) presentations to clients and others throughout California on the ethical considerations faced by in-house lawyers who oversee AI and AV development.
