DLA PIPER: DLA Piper's Liliana Menzie and Rebecca Roberts receive pro bono awards from Casa Cornelia

DLA Piper issued the following announcement on Sept. 13.

DLA Piper is pleased to announce that attorney Liliana Menzie and of counsel Rebecca Roberts recently received 2019 La Mancha Awards from Casa Cornelia, a California nonprofit law firm providing pro bono legal services to San Diego's immigrant community.

The annual awards honor people and organizations that have made outstanding contributions in meeting the needs of victims of human and civil rights violations from around the world. Casa Cornelia's 12th Annual La Mancha Awards ceremony will take place on October 19 at Shiley Theater, University of San Diego.

Menzie concentrates her practice in international tax with a focus on inbound international tax planning for foreign nationals. She also advises US clients on their estate planning, such as trusts, wills, advance healthcare directives, and durable powers of attorney.

Roberts focuses on government investigations, internal investigations and complex civil and criminal matters at all levels in federal and state court. She has represented companies, public entities and individuals during government investigations, criminal and civil, and has assisted public entities and companies with internal investigations.
