Holland and Knight LLP issued the following announcement on Nov. 1.
Holland & Knight ranked as a national first-tier law firm in 34 practice areas, as well as "Law Firm of the Year" in admiralty and maritime law and banking and finance litigation, in the 2020 edition of the U.S. News – Best Lawyers "Best Law Firms" guide. In addition, the firm achieved 196 metropolitan first-tier rankings across 21 of its U.S. offices.
The "Best Law Firms" rankings are based on a rigorous evaluation process that includes the collection of client and lawyer evaluations and peer reviews from leading attorneys in their fields. This year's results featured more than 12,000 law firms ranked nationally in one or more of 75 practice areas and by metropolitan area in 127 practice areas. Only one firm in each of the nationally ranked practice areas received the prestigious "Law Firm of the Year" recognition.
