Am Law 100 firm Polsinelli is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrea Clay as the new Office Managing Partner for the firm’s San Francisco office.
Clay is a seasoned attorney with more than 25 years of legal experience in real estate lending and finance. She is part of Polsinelli’s national Real Estate & Financial Services Department and is a member of the Real Estate Finance Practice.
“I’m proud to announce Andrea as Office Managing Partner in San Francisco, and am confident that as the leader of that office, she will guide it to continued growth and success in the near future,” said Polsinelli Chairman and CEO Chase Simmons. “Andrea has demonstrated her leadership through her strong real estate finance practice and has been recognized for her legal abilities by various industry associations. She will do a great job leading our San Francisco team.”
The office managing partner role is filled by leading attorneys across the country in Polsinelli’s 21 office locations. Clay’s new responsibilities as Office Managing Partners will include day-to-day management of the San Francisco office, with a focus on reinforcing community and civic involvement for the office and its attorneys.
Clay replaces Fabio Marino as Office Managing Partner in San Francisco, who will maintain his current role as Office Managing Partner of the firm’s Silicon Valley location. Clay’s practice focuses on real estate lending, having closed in excess of 1,000 loans across the country spanning all loan product types, including construction, permanent, securitized and mezzanine lending.
Clay has been selected eight times for inclusion in Northern California "Super Lawyers" for Real Estate. She was also included in Real Estate Forum's Women of Influence in 2008 and in The Daily Journal’s Top 20 Under 40 in 2006.
