JACKSON LEWIS PC: Kevin D. Reese Strengthens Jackson Lewis' Class Actions Practice in San Francisco

Jackson Lewis P.C. issued the following announcement on Nov. 26.

Jackson Lewis P.C., one of the country’s preeminent workplace law firms, is pleased to announce Kevin. D Reese has joined the firm’s San Francisco office as a Principal. Mr. Reese joins the firm from Ogletree Deakins where he was a Shareholder focusing on wage and hour class action lawsuits. Mr. Reese has 25 years of civil litigation experience.

“Kevin‘s substantial experience as lead counsel in numerous wage and hour class action cases will be a key asset to the firm’s Class Actions and Complex Litigation Practice Group,” said Group Co-Leaders Stephanie L. Adler-Paindiris, David R. Golder and Eric R. Magnus in a joint statement. “The firm has recently seen a surge in demand for our services in California, and Kevin’s legal acumen and reputation add great depth to our roster of litigators located throughout the state.”

Mr. Reese serves as lead counsel defending management in wage and hour class action cases and issues involving employment discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, trade secrets, unfair competition, employee raiding, WARN, FMLA, and reasonable accommodation. He also provides management, in-house counsel, and human resource professionals with day-to-day counseling for various general employment matters and wage and hour issues currently affecting employers in California. Mr. Reese works with clients to develop effective strategies for litigating and resolving legal conflicts in a manner consistent with their business objectives.

Mr. Reese represents employers in a wide range of local, national, and international industries, including healthcare, transportation, retail, technology, manufacturing and construction.

Mr. Reese is the Chair of the Labor and Employment Law Section of the National Bar Association (NBA). He is also the former Director of Region IX of the NBA.

Mr. Reese earned his J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law and his B.S. from San Jose State University.
