Lawsuit says golf clubs were defective and blinded man in accident

SACRAMENTO - Joseph Aguinaldo filed a complaint on Aug. 4 in Sacramento County Superior Court against Dick's Sporting Goods, Inc., Thomas Ziebart and Does 1-100 for negligence and strict products liability.

According to the complaint, Aguinaldo purchased a Top Flite XL 13-Piece set of golf clubs from Dick's Sporting Goods on April 17, 2019, that  are alleged to have been defective and dangerous condition.

The lawsuit is not specific on how it happened, but when trying to use the clubs Aguinaldo was blinded. 

Aguinaldo seeks general damages, special damages, cost of suit and attorney's fees. Aguinaldo is represented by Andrew J. Collins.
