COVID-19 in the Workplace: Recent Developments and Compliance Challenges - Session 22 on January 7, 2022

Littler Mendelson P.C. recently issued the following announcement.

Date: January 7, 2022

It has become apparent that COVID-19 is going to dominate employment and labor law issues going into the new year. The American workplace has become the first frontier as the pandemic creates new legal issues – seemingly every day.

In response to the many questions that business leaders, human resources professionals, and in-house counsel have about facing these new legal challenges, Littler's Sacramento office created the “First Friday" webinar series. Every month since April 2020, on the first Friday of every month, we gather (an average of 1,500 attendees have tuned in month over month since we started the series) to talk about what has happened in COVID employment law in the last 30 days.

Kicking off 2022, our guest speaker will be Trent Sutton, a shareholder out of our Singapore office who will be discussing the global employer’s perspective - the response to the pandemic, vaccines, etc. As we've done previously, while the presentation going on, Nick McKinney, an associate in our Sacramento office will be in the background answering questions as they pop up.

Plan to join us every month for this popular series – offering practical suggestions and Littler's best strategic thinking for responding to the COVID employment law challenges we all face. Following our session on January 7, 2022, our next session will take place on February 4.
