Littler Mendelson PC issued the following announcement on Jan. 31.
Littler, the world’s largest employment and labor law practice representing management, has elected four new members to its board of directors: Michelle Heverly (San Francisco), Keith Jacoby (Los Angeles - Century City), Michael McIntosh (Tysons Corner) and Juan Carlos Varela (Caracas/Miami). Additionally, Kate Mrkonich Wilson has been reelected to serve as chair for the third consecutive year.
“I congratulate and welcome this remarkable group of individuals to the 2022 board,” said Erin Webber, Littler’s managing director and president. “I look forward to working alongside this talented and diverse board, as we continue to position Littler as the global employment and labor powerhouse of choice.”
More than 60% of Littler’s 2022 board includes diverse members – attorneys who identify as women, of color and/or LGBTQ+ – demonstrating Littler’s deep commitment to fostering a culture where everyone can embrace their full potential and succeed at every level of the firm. In addition to the firm’s board of directors, Littler’s management committee is 100% diverse.
“I am truly honored to be leading the board for the third year,” said Mrkonich Wilson. “The 2022 board exemplifies the firm’s core values of innovation and diversity, which will be beneficial as we continue to guide Littler’s global strategic vision and achieve our business goals for the coming year.”
