Fox Rothschild LLP is pleased to welcome Jasmine L. Anderson to the San Francisco office as a partner in the Labor & Employment Department.
“Jasmine is a strategic adviser to employers throughout California. She defends her clients in high-stakes matters involving discrimination, harassment and other issues that span the spectrum of employment law,” said Fox’s San Francisco Office Managing Partner Laura Terry Howard. “We are thrilled to welcome her to our team on the West Coast.”
Anderson defends businesses in a broad range of employment matters and litigation involving discrimination, harassment, wage and hour, failure to accommodate, leave denial and other claims before federal and state courts and administrative agencies. She counsels employers on how to prevent litigation and works with them to develop effective employment policies and practices. As a certified, trauma-informed investigator, she also conducts Title IX and workplace investigations.
A dedicated member of the business community, Anderson is involved with the State Bar of California Labor and Employment Section, National Employment Law Council, California Minority Counsel Program, Black Women Lawyers Association of Northern California and Marin Employers Advisory Council.
She earned her J.D. from the University of California Berkeley School of Law and B.S., magna cum laude, from Florida State University.
Before Fox, Anderson was partner and co-chair of the Diversity Education Initiative at Constangy, Brooks, Smith & Prophete, LLP.
