As Benesch continues to add to its roster of top-notch legal talent, the firm is pleased to welcome Paralegal Erick Howells to the Litigation Practice Group in San Francisco.
Erick brings over 22 years of complex Litigation experience to Benesch working in a wide range of practice areas including Employment, Product Liability, Traditional Labor, Consumer, Trade Secret, Personal Injury, Insurance and Environmental.
Erick is experienced with defending clients at both State and Federal trials, arbitrations, and administrative hearings as well as working on large class actions. Erick has assisted with trial preparation, arbitration preparation, mock trials and by preparing trial binders, subpoenas, presentation materials, and organized exhibits. Erick has also prepared and updated discovery binders, expert binders, key documents binders, and medical record binders. He has also shepardized, proofread, Bates-stamped and cite-checked pleading and motion documents.
In addition to his law firm experience, Erick has also worked in-house for National corporations drafting and coordinating legal holds, working with outside counsel, interviewing witnesses, reviewing best practices and project managing and drafting legal processes, procedures and policies. Erick has additional experience assisting in coordinating, organizing, and reviewing documents and procedures as well as managing client relationships. In addition, he has appeared in court on behalf of corporations, where he prepared releases, declarations, affidavits, and verifications.
Erick earned his B.A. in American Government and Politics from Cornell University College of Arts and Sciences.
