Najwa focuses her practice on complex and high-stakes consumer class actions and commercial disputes, securities litigation, antitrust, mergers and acquisitions, DOJ and SEC investigations, whistleblower claims, and litigation involving technology and patents in both state and federal courts.
Her breadth of experience includes representing clients in California employment actions and consumer protection actions involving the Unfair Competition Law, the False Advertising Law, and the Consumer Legal Remedies Act.Najwa received her Juris Doctorate from University of California, Berkeley, School of Law, where she served as a Submissions Editor for the Berkeley Business Law Journal and a Student Director for the Berkeley Law Foundation.
She earned her undergraduate degree in Government from Smith College, graduating with honors.Prior to joining Benesch, Najwa served as a Legal Clerk for NCLR where she focused on national policy and high-impact litigation.
She also served as a Legal Clerk for the City Attorney of San Francisco’s Land Use Division. She has completed over 400 hours of pro-bono service representing criminal defendants in state and federal court. Najwa is admitted to practice in all courts in the State of California, as well as Northern, Central and Southern District Courts of California.
