Dechert is advising Fabric, a wealth technology platform specializing in portfolio design, customization, and analytics for wealth managers and advisors, on its acquisition by MSCI Inc., a leading provider of mission-critical decision support tools and services for the global investment community. The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2024, subject to customary closing conditions.
The merger of MSCI's portfolio toolkit and Fabric's portfolio construction capabilities will enhance wealth management operations, improve collaboration, and provide real-time insights. This deal will enable wealth managers to effectively implement investment strategies, cater to client preferences, and scale customization.
