Troutman Pepper is listed among nine firms shortlisted for the ‘Legal Advisory of the Year’ award which recognizes firms who have displayed a successful track record over the last 12 months by providing good legal stewardship to clients. The firm was also named a finalist in the ‘Project Finance Deal of The Year’ for Troutman Pepper’s representation of Serena Energy (formerly known as Omega Energia), Latin America’s largest renewable energy company, in connection with the construction debt, tax equity, and back-leverage debt of Goodnight I, a 252MW wind farm in Armstrong County, Texas.
Loomis is among nine individuals shortlisted in the ‘Rising Star of the Year’ category, which recognizes professionals with five to 10 years of experience who display innovation, influence, and strong business performance. As a tax attorney and CPA with years of experience in the energy industry, Loomis focuses her practice on federal, state, and local tax planning with an emphasis on the unique tax issues facing rate-regulated public utilities and other energy industry clients. Her in-house experience with a Fortune 500 energy company, understanding of clients’ tax accounting considerations, and face-to-face experience with the IRS make her an invaluable member of Troutman Pepper’s Tax Practice and Energy Industry Group.
