Woman sues VIP Surgicare and their medical staff for alleged medical negligence

In the Superior Court of California, County of Santa Clara, plaintiffs Sherry Roozrokh and Hootan Roozrokh have filed a lawsuit against VIP Surgicare, LLC, Ryan Konoske, M.D., Nicholas Abidi, M.D., Raymond Villaverde, PA-C, and Does One through One-Hundred. The case (ID: 24CV438762) was filed on May 9th, 2024 and alleges medical negligence.

The plaintiffs are represented by attorneys Khaldoun A. Baghdadi and Jeffrey A. Clause from the law offices of Walkup, Melodia, Kelly & Schoenberger. According to the complaint, Sherry Roozrokh underwent a left great toe hallux rigidus cheilectomy under the care of the defendants on December 5th, 2023. The plaintiff alleges that due to the negligence and carelessness in examination, treatment, testing, evaluation and surgical care by the defendants she suffered permanent injuries including nerve damage and complex regional pain syndrome.

The complaint further states that each defendant is negligently or otherwise legally responsible for the events referred to in the lawsuit. It also mentions that all defendants were acting within their professional capacities at all times mentioned in the complaint.

Sherry Roozrokh seeks judgment against all defendants for an amount exceeding $25,000 due to their alleged negligence. The plaintiff has demanded a jury trial for this case.
