Union campaigns targeting physicians and their employers (direct or joint) are primed to spike. The American Federation of Teachers recently launched an initiative to “focus on organizing doctors across the country” following National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) election victories by the Doctors Council SEIU. Major new NLRB developments provide fast-track union election and recognition processes that unions will leverage. However, these challenges are navigable with rapid response plans, proactive and positive next-gen engagement, and robust National Labor Relations Act (NLRA) compliance strategies.

Minimum continuing legal education (MCLE) credit is pending in California, Illinois and New York. A Multi-Jurisdiction Certificate of Attendance will be made available to participants requesting MCLE credit in all other jurisdictions, depending upon that state’s rules. To be eligible to earn a CLE certificate, you must attend the entire program. Credit for partial attendance will not be provided.
