A tragic scooter accident has led to a lawsuit in San Francisco, as a local resident seeks justice for injuries sustained due to alleged negligence. On August 7, 2024, Arnaudys Lopez Tejedor filed a complaint in the Superior Court of California, County of San Francisco, against Anqi Huang and unnamed defendants identified as Does 1 through 20.

According to the complaint, the incident occurred on August 17, 2022, at approximately 4:50 p.m., near the intersection of 4th Street and Bluxome Street in San Francisco. Tejedor was riding a scooter when Huang's vehicle exited a parking garage and collided with him. The plaintiff alleges that this collision was a direct result of Huang's negligence, carelessness, and recklessness. The lawsuit claims that Tejedor suffered significant injuries to his body and nervous system due to the accident. These injuries have caused him ongoing physical and mental pain and suffering.

The complaint further details that Tejedor had to seek medical treatment from physicians and surgeons for his injuries. He incurred substantial medical expenses and anticipates additional costs for future treatments. "As a direct and proximate result of these acts of negligence," the document states, "Plaintiff was injured in health, strength, and activity." The plaintiff is seeking general and special damages according to proof presented during the trial.

In addition to compensatory damages for medical expenses and personal suffering, Tejedor is also seeking compensation for loss of earnings and loss of earning capacity. The complaint underscores that all allegations are based on information currently available but may be amended as more evidence is gathered through investigation and discovery.

The attorneys representing Arnaudys Lopez Tejedor are Michael Royer (SBN 336928) and Gabriel Rubalcaba (SBN 332962) from Royer Law Group. They emphasize that each allegation has evidentiary support or is likely to have such support after further investigation. The case has been assigned Case No.: CGC-24-617059 in the Superior Court of California, County of San Francisco.

Tejedor's legal team has demanded a jury trial for all causes of action outlined in the complaint. This demand highlights their confidence in presenting their case before a jury to seek justice for their client’s suffering due to the alleged negligence.
