A pedestrian is seeking justice after a car accident left her with serious injuries. On September 5, 2024, Alexandra Kim Becerra filed a complaint in the Superior Court of California, County of Santa Clara, against Veronica Alba Salvador. The case centers around an incident that occurred on October 27, 2022.

According to the complaint, Becerra was walking within the crosswalk of Lowes' parking lot located at 7151 Camino Arroyo in Gilroy, California. As she was crossing, Salvador allegedly made an improper left turn and struck Becerra with her vehicle. The plaintiff claims that this act of negligence resulted in severe physical and mental injuries. "Plaintiff was hurt and injured in her health, strength and activity," the document states, adding that these injuries have caused and continue to cause "great mental, physical and nervous pain and suffering."

Becerra's legal team argues that Salvador and additional unnamed defendants were negligent in managing, maintaining, driving, and operating the vehicle involved in the collision. They further allege that these actions were directly responsible for the injuries sustained by Becerra. The complaint also mentions that some of these injuries may result in permanent disability for Becerra.

The lawsuit seeks general damages according to proof presented during the trial. Additionally, it requests damages where permitted by law as well as coverage for court costs incurred during the litigation process. Lastly, Becerra's legal team asks for any other relief deemed just and proper by the court.

Representing Alexandra Kim Becerra is attorney Jessie S., who filed the complaint electronically on September 5th. The case has been assigned Case ID DACV446703.
