This property was owned or leased by SKH Inc., doing business as Fuji Japanese Restaurant. According to the complaint, Truck Insurance Exchange had insured this property and subsequently paid out $648,472.04 for damages caused by the fire. The plaintiff alleges that Westco Roofing Company and unnamed defendants (Does 1 through 50) were negligent in their maintenance and oversight of the premises, leading to the fire that damaged both real and personal property.
Truck Insurance Exchange claims that due to their payment for damages under the insurance policy, they have been subrogated to pursue claims against those responsible for the loss.
