Andrew Wild, a former executive, has filed a lawsuit against his previous employer, alleging multiple breaches of contract and unethical business practices. The complaint was filed by Andrew Wild in the Superior Court of California, County of Santa Clara on January 24, 2025, against The Pipeline Group and its CEO Ken Jisser.
The case centers around a "Contractor Agreement" signed on November 1, 2022, between Wild's company Sand Hill Consulting and Investments LLC and The Pipeline Group (TPG). Under this agreement, Sand Hill was to provide consulting services as Chief Revenue Officer for TPG. Wild claims that despite achieving record sales and revenue growth for TPG, he was wrongfully terminated just before several lucrative deals were finalized. He alleges this was a strategic move by TPG to avoid paying him earned commissions. Furthermore, Wild accuses TPG of misleading customers about the nature of their Sales Development Representatives (SDRs), presenting them as full-time employees dedicated to single accounts when they were not.
Wild also highlights an incident in August 2024 where he raised concerns about these misrepresentations during a management meeting. He asserts that his termination shortly after was retaliatory for exposing TPG’s fraudulent practices. This action allegedly violated California's whistleblower protection laws. In addition to wrongful termination, Wild claims he was offered an unlawful severance package that included restrictive covenants violating California Business and Professions Code §16600.
The lawsuit seeks various forms of relief including special damages for lost income, general damages, punitive damages for the alleged malicious conduct by the defendants, and attorney fees under the Unfair Competition Law (UCL). Wild is also seeking declaratory relief to void the non-compete clause in his severance agreement and injunctive relief to prevent further unfair business practices by TPG.
Representing Andrew Wild is attorney Michael H. Porrazzo from The Porrazzo Law Firm. The case is being heard in front of Judge B. Roman-Antunez under Case No: 25CV457699.
