Ana Lidia A. Ceja has taken a bold step in holding her former employer accountable for alleged labor violations. On April 8, 2025, Ceja filed a class action complaint against Cupertino Healthcare & Wellness Center, LLC in the Superior Court of California, County of Santa Clara. The lawsuit accuses the company of numerous infractions related to employee compensation and working conditions.

Ceja's complaint outlines a series of allegations against Cupertino Healthcare & Wellness Center, LLC, claiming that the company systematically violated several provisions of the California Labor Code. The plaintiff alleges that the company failed to pay minimum wages and overtime compensation as required by law. Furthermore, Ceja accuses the defendants of not providing mandatory meal periods and rest breaks to their employees. According to the complaint, "Defendants maintained a systematic, company-wide policy and practice" that resulted in these violations.

The lawsuit also claims that Cupertino Healthcare & Wellness Center did not reimburse employees for necessary business expenses and failed to provide accurate itemized wage statements. These actions are said to constitute unfair business practices under California Business & Professions Code §§ 17200 et seq. The plaintiff asserts that these practices were deliberate and willful, causing financial harm to her and other similarly situated employees.

In addition to seeking unpaid wages and damages for herself and other affected employees, Ceja is asking the court for injunctive relief to prevent further violations by Cupertino Healthcare & Wellness Center. She is also seeking restitution for unpaid wages over a period starting four years before filing this complaint, along with attorney fees and costs associated with bringing this action.

Representing Ana Lidia A. Ceja are attorneys Kane Moon, Allen Feghali, Mariam Ghazaryan, and Mitchell Millet from Moon Law Group PC. The case has been assigned Case No.: 25CV462953 in the Superior Court of California for the County of Santa Clara.
