SAN DIEGO – Judge Michael M. Anello of the U.S. District Court of the Southern District of California awarded summary judgment in favor of the operator of four San Diego restaurants in a suit over a surcharge added to guest checks.

SAN FRANCISCO – The California State Bar is pushing efforts to increase interest rates on the Interest on Lawyers’ Trust Accounts (IOLTA), a fund that helps in part to provide legal aid grants.
