Teespring Inc. seeks declaratory judgment in patent dispute

SAN FRANCISCO – A San Francisco company is seeking the court's help in a dispute with a Texas company regarding patents.

Teespring Inc. filed a complaint on March 4 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California against Stonemark Technologies LLC, seeking declaratory judgment.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff was sent two letters in January and February from the defendant accusing it of patent infringement and stating that it needed a license to the patents. The plaintiff alleges that it did not infringe any patents.

The plaintiff seeks the following: declaration that the plaintiff did not infringe any of the patents in suit, all legal fees and any other relief as this court deems just and proper. It is represented by Brett M. Schuman and David L. Simson of Goodwin Procter LLP in San Francisco.
