Protonet Inc. sued over alleged fraudulent transfer

Stocks

SAN FRANCISCO – A Swiss company has filed a suit against a San Ramon business over allegations of fraudulent transfer.

LG Capital AG filed the complaint on March 14 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California against Protonet Inc.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it loaned 250,000 euros to Protonet Germany. The suit states that in exchange, the plaintiff purchased 6,181 shares of Protonet Germany, or 19 percent of its issued shares. The plaintiff holds Protonet Inc. responsible because Protonet Germany allegedly authorized the transfer of assets in January or February, estimated to be worth millions of dollars, to the defendant. The plaintiff alleges that the Protonet Inc. was created to prevent it from obtaining the value of the transferred assets.

The plaintiff seeks the following: compensation for all damages, order the defendant from precluding further transfer of assets, interest, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just and proper. It is represented by Richard J. Mooney of Rimon PC in San Francisco.
