Rv on the road

SAN FRANCISCO – A San Lorenzo man alleges that a recreational vehicle he purchased is defective and still has not been repaired despite several attempts.

David Souto filed a complaint on March 21 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California against Manteca Trailer and Motorhome LLC and Thor Motor Coach Inc., citing breach of implied warranty and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he purchased a recreational vehicle from Manteca in October 2015 that was found defective. The plaintiff holds Manteca Trailer and Motorhome LLC and Thor Motor Coach Inc. responsible because Manteca, a Thor-authorized dealer, has not repaired the defects.

The plaintiff seeks the following: compensation for all damages, restitution, all legal fees plus interest, and any other relief as the court deems just and proper. He is represented by Terry L. Baker in Capitola.
