Law money 03

SAN FRANCISCO – A Santa Clara County man claims he spent thousands of dollars on coaching sessions that were not what was promised.

Paul Ponomarenko filed a complaint on May 23 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California against Project Vegas Mansion, Nathan Shapiro and Does 1 through 50, citing alleged breach of contract, negligence, negligent misrepresentation, unfair competition and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he paid several thousand dollars to the defendants for personalized coaching sessions from 2013 to 2014. The plaintiff holds Project Vegas Mansion, Nathan Shapiro, and Does 1 through 50 responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to deliver their promises to plaintiff according to the agreement they entered with him and allegedly used plaintiff's money to lead an extravagant nightlife. The suit also states that the defendants falsely represented themselves as a legitimate business entity.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks all damages against the defendant in an amount greater than $150,000, punitive and exemplary damages sufficient to punish the defendant, all legal fees and any other relief as this court deems just. He is represented by Sanjiv N. Singh of Sanjiv N. Singh, a Professional Law Corp. in San Francisco and Michael Indrajana of Law Offices of Michael Indrajana, ESQ. in South San Francisco.
