SAN FRANCISCO – Several labor union trust funds claim a Rancho Cordova employer has not paid contributions per a bargaining agreement.
Board of trustees of the U.A. Local No. 355 Health and Welfare Fund; board of trustees of the U.A. Local No. 343 Pension Trust Fund; board of trustees of the Northern California/Northern Nevada Utility Journeyman and Apprentice Training Trust Fund; and board of trustees of the U.A. Local No. 355 Labor Management Cooperation Committee filed a complaint on May 31 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California against Beebe Diversified Limited Partnership and Elizabeth Sophia Beebe citing violation of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act.
According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that, between November 2015 and April 2016 they suffered damages as a result of unpaid contributions from the defendants. The plaintiffs hold Beebe Diversified Limited Partnership and Beebe responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to pay contributions to the labor group on behalf of their employees per a bargaining agreement between the parties.
The plaintiffs seek sum of $181,092.14 plus interest, all legal fees and any other relief as this court deems just. They are represented by Lori A. Nord of Kraw Law Group in Mountain View.
