SAN FRANCISCO – A Newark company is seeking declaratory judgment from the court over allegations from a Georgia company of patent infringement.
ITRenew Inc. filed a declaratory judgment of non-infringement on June 10 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California against Blancco Technology Group and Blancco Oy LTD.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that Blancco Technology Group and Blancco Oy LTD claims that plaintiff infringed their '231 patent and may threaten its business by informing the plaintiff's customers that its Teraware software is infringing the said patent. The plaintiff claims it has not infringed the patent in question.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks declare that ITRenew's Teraware does not infringe the '231 patent, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by Alan E. Engle of Meador & Engle in Irvine.
